ACADEMIC STRUCTURE & SESSIONS
Plenary Conferences & Individual Oral Pitches
The FAPESP School offers an intense and unique scientific program, combining keynote conferences by invited speakers with oral presentations by all selected postdoctoral researchers.
Plenary Keynote Conferences
World-leading Brazilian and international scientists will deliver master plenary conferences on breakthrough frontiers across Exact Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. Each conference is followed by dedicated open discussion and direct debate with all participants.
Oral Presentation
All selected postdoctoral researchers are required to deliver an individual oral presentation in the main plenary hall. Each participant will have a strict maximum time limit of 6 minutes to present their research, and all presentations must be delivered entirely in English.
POSTER SESSIONS
Interactive Poster Sessions
The scientific poster sessions represent a vital component of the School’s collaborative dynamic. Scheduled at dedicated times (without overlapping with conferences), these sessions create an open forum where all postdoctoral researchers present their current projects, side-by-side.
Keynote leaders and fellow researchers circulate freely to engage in one-on-one discussions, explore innovative approaches across Exact Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, and foster new scientific connections in a relaxed, interactive atmosphere.

Standard A0 Portrait (Vertical orientation) — approximately 90 cm width × 120 cm height.
No Predefined Template
FAPESP does not impose a mandatory template. Researchers have complete freedom to structure their visual layout, as long as it is in English (including Title, Authors, Affiliations, and Funding Acknowledgement).
Hanging & Stands
The poster must include a top hanging cord (string). The event provides all display stands on-site.
Mandatory Pre-Printing
Participants must bring their poster already printed, as there are no printing facilities near the hotel venue.
